NBC is giving the under-rated show, Friday Night Lights, its own little boost to kick off the second season — a pep rally of sorts. On September 14, Together with Houseparty.com, NBC is asking 1000 fans to host Friday Night Lights house parties to preview the second season opener. You supply the TV, they’ll supply the popcorn.
To help get the party started, so to speak, NBC will send to the selected hosts DVDs with the season opener and select episodes from Season 1. But no pep rally would be complete without some cool giveaways. NBC will also be providing rally towels, stadium seat cushions, cups, koozies, megaphones and yes, even popcorn.
